Brazil expands professional training and technical courses
Various educational and professional training initiatives are being launched across Brazil to bolster the workforce in the agribusiness, industrial, and service sectors.
In Mato Grosso do Sul, Senar/MS has opened 510 free technical course vacancies across 13 municipalities, covering fields such as agribusiness, livestock, and forestry. Similarly, Senar-PE is offering 80 free technical spots in Pernambuco for courses in zootechnics, occupational safety, and fruit growing.
Technological advancement is also a focus, with the new Senar i center set to launch in Salvador, offering hybrid courses in drone intelligence and data-driven livestock monitoring. In Três Lagoas, Senai has commenced its third class for a Biotechnology technical course to meet industrial demand in the cellulose and forestry sectors.
Local government partnerships are also expanding access, such as the agreement between the Colíder municipality and Senac-MT to provide professional training in health, IT, and beauty. Additionally, Colégio Estadual São Mateus is enrolling students for integrated technical high school programs in areas like chemistry, pharmacy, and agribusiness.
