Senator Antonio Marte warns PRM candidates of internal party structure issues

Senator Antonio Marte, president of the Primero La Gente (PPG) party, has raised concerns regarding the internal structures of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) ahead of upcoming closed conventions. Marte suggested that potential candidates such as Carolina Mejía, David Collado, and Wellington Arnaud face different challenges, noting that David Collado possesses less internal party structure than Carolina Mejía.

Marte also disclosed a unique communication dynamic with President Luis Abinader, revealing that he has occasionally blocked the President on WhatsApp to maintain distance during certain discussions. He characterized this as a sign of the direct communication and trust that exists between them, allowing for the management of political differences despite his alliance with the government.
