Senator Biancofiore urges youth to avoid violent protests

Italian Senator Michaela Biancofiore, president of the Civici d’Italia–UDC–Noi Moderati–MAIE–Centro Popolare group, has issued an appeal to young people regarding social media calls for street demonstrations. While acknowledging the legitimacy of youth concerns regarding the cost of living, education, and employment, Biancofiore warned against being used by violent actors.

She urged young citizens to investigate the promoters of online mobilizations and to avoid actions that could lead to aggression or property damage. Biancofiore encouraged youth to focus their energy on studies, work, and personal development to secure their futures, rather than risking their prospects through potentially destructive protests.
