Senator Ciro Nogueira linked to luxury trip with ex-banker Daniel Vorcaro

New images and videos have emerged showing Senator Ciro Nogueira and former banker Daniel Vorcaro vacationing together in Courchevel, a luxury ski resort in the French Alps. The footage, dated January 22, 2025, depicts the senator and Vorcaro enjoying a party at a restaurant alongside their respective partners.

According to a Federal Police investigation, the trip cost approximately 2 million reais and was funded by Vorcaro. The relationship between the two figures has drawn scrutiny, particularly regarding Vorcaro’s authorization to become a banker during the Bolsonaro administration, a move that occurred while Roberto Campos Neto led the Central Bank.

Nogueira, a prominent leader of the Centrão political bloc and former Chief of Staff under Jair Bolsonaro, is currently running for re-election to the Senate for Piauí. Recent AtlasIntel polling places him at 15.6% of the intended votes.
