Senator Emmanuel Santalla addresses platform worker precariousness

Argentine Senator Emmanuel Santalla met with digital platform workers and representatives from the Association of Motorcyclists, Messengers, and Services (ASiMM) to discuss labor conditions. Santalla highlighted the precarious nature of the work, noting that while the sector provides essential income opportunities, workers face physical and psychological exhaustion, insecurity, and a lack of social security contributions, collective bargaining, or accident insurance.

The senator expressed support for the workers' efforts to organize and demand dignified employment conditions and salaries that reflect their level of effort.
