Senator Gabriel Elizondo seeks economic development for Coahuila's Carboniferous Region

Senator Gabriel Elizondo Pérez has presented a formal agreement to the Mexican Senate to expedite the inclusion of the Carboniferous Region in the Economic Development Poles program. The initiative aims to stimulate investment, economic growth, and job creation within the region.

Elizondo Pérez highlighted the historical economic contributions of municipalities including Sabinas, Múzquiz, San Juan de Sabinas, Progreso, and Juárez to the state of Coahuila and the nation. He emphasized that while state leadership is working to expand opportunities, federal cooperation is essential to facilitate new productive projects and strengthen local businesses.
