Senator Hotels & Resorts opens Casa del Compositor in Jerez

Senator Hotels & Resorts has opened the Casa del Compositor Vignette Collection Hotel in the historic center of Jerez de la Frontera. Operating under IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Vignette Collection brand, the 34-room establishment is located in the former home of composer Germán Álvarez Beigbeder. The facility includes a rooftop pool and a gastronomic space called Tabanco Acorde, which focuses on Andalusian cuisine.

The opening marks a significant step in the expansion of hotel capacity in Jerez. Official data from the Tourism Registry of Andalusia indicates that the city now has 34 hotel establishments providing nearly 3,500 beds. When including hostels and pensions, the total capacity approaches 4,000 beds, making Jerez the fourth largest hotel provider in the province of Cádiz.

Further developments are underway in the region. Senator and IHG are currently renovating a property in Plaza del Arenal to become the Hotel Indigo Jerez. Other ongoing projects in Jerez include the renovation of the former Casa de los Condes de Puerto Hermoso into a four-star hotel, and various other rehabilitations of buildings in Plaza del Arroyo and near Plaza Belén and San Lucas.
