Senator John Fetterman uses Republican lists for fundraising

Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman is utilizing email lists associated with Republican groups to fundraise for his campaign. Recent appeals sent from addresses linked to Republican committees and candidates have urged recipients to help Fetterman ‘stay on the side of America’ and ‘reject the extremes.’ While campaigns often rent donor lists to reach new contributors, the use of domains such as ‘info@gopsquad.com’ has drawn attention to his shifting political positioning.

Fetterman has also addressed his growing friction with the Democratic Party. During an interview at the Texas Tribune Festival, he stated that the party’s ‘big tent’ has become increasingly intolerant of members who maintain strong support for Israel. He noted that it currently feels easier to be included in the party by expressing views critical of the United States than by standing firmly with Israel, citing the rising anti-Israel sentiment among his caucus as a primary point of contention.
