Senator Joseph Igiagbe Ikpea pledges road repairs for Ewatto and Ewohimi communities

Senator Joseph Igiagbe Ikpea, a member of the Nigerian Senate, has reaffirmed his commitment to improving the dilapidated road network linking the neighboring Esanland communities of Ewatto and Ewohimi in Edo State. He says that the necessary modalities are already in place and that interim palliative measures are being provided while work proceeds.

The Ikpea family, to which the senator belongs, has previously funded projects for both communities, including the construction of a palace for the new Onojie of Ewohimi and the launch of the Ewohimi Security Network. Critics on social media have accused the senator of neglecting road conditions, but he attributes the criticism to partisan posts and urges patience, emphasizing that the budget for the repairs was approved before his election.
