Senator Karla Toledo launches leadership training for women

Senator Karla Toledo Zamora of the PRI has launched the Female Leadership Course to provide training, entrepreneurship, and professional development tools for women. The initiative aims to strengthen productive projects and expand economic opportunities for women, who often face significant obstacles in professional development and leadership roles.

Toledo Zamora noted that in Mexico, more than 6.5 million women engage in self-employed business activities. The program seeks to foster economic autonomy by teaching business administration, financial planning, and market identification.

As part of this effort, the Institute of Female Leadership has been established. This institute is designed to build a community for sharing knowledge and creating support networks that can be replicated across Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
