Bracciano Mauro Negretti council session reassignment salary reduction

During the session the councilor for health, Mauro Negretti, interrupted the proceedings to protest his recent reassignment from the Padre Pio hospital in Bracciano. He explained that, effective 1 July 2026, he was moved to a different role outside the hospital, losing the position he had obtained through an internal competition and facing a significant salary reduction. Negretti demanded an explanation, receiving the reply, “I know, but I have no proof,” attributed to Pier Paolo Pasolini.
