Senator Liz Sánchez presents Feria de los Moles 2026

Senator Liz Sánchez García presented the Feria de los Moles 2026 at the Senate of the Republic, an event scheduled for October 11 in Los Angeles, California, at Gloria Molina Grand Park. The festival serves as a gastronomic and cultural celebration driven by Mexican migrant communities, particularly those from Puebla. For the 2026 edition, the state of Michoacán will serve as the guest state.

Sánchez emphasized that the festival aims to bridge the gap between the Senate and the concerns of migrants, recognizing their cultural contributions and identity while living abroad. She also highlighted the importance of defending the human rights and dignity of Mexicans in the United States, aligning her stance with President Claudia Sheinbaum’s administration. Additionally, Emmanuel Reyes Carmona, President of the Economy Commission, expressed support for certifying various types of mole poblano with the ‘Hecho en México’ (Made in Mexico) distinction.
