Senator Oscar Dolzani's licence suspended after video shows cellphone and mate while driving

The Agencia Provincial de Seguridad Vial (APSV) in Santa Fe province has provisionally suspended the driving licence of provincial senator Oscar Dolzani. The action follows a viral video that captured Dolzani operating a vehicle while holding a mate and using his mobile phone. The agency ordered him to complete a road‑re‑education course, retake the driving aptitude exams, and appear before the competent traffic court to address the recorded infractions.

Dolzani publicly acknowledged the misconduct, describing it as “mal, muy mal” and apologising to residents of Santa Fe. The suspension is part of the province’s broader effort to enforce traffic safety rules and deter risky behaviour behind the wheel.
