Brazilian officials promote local development at festivals in Piauí and Amazonas
State deputy Severo Eulálio (MDB) attended the XVI Festival Desportivo de Férias in Massapê, Piauí, praising the event’s role in strengthening sand‑football, fostering community integration and boosting the local economy. He highlighted how the festival generates income for merchants and supports social inclusion through sport.
Senator Plínio Valério (PSDB‑AM) returned to his hometown of Eirunepé, Amazonas, where a large parade welcomed him. During the visit he thanked residents and outlined the allocation of over R$24 million from his parliamentary amendments for projects such as an airport upgrade, a new health centre, school equipment, agricultural machinery, solar kits and a police barracks, emphasizing job creation and regional development.
