Senator Sharafadeen Alli Campaign criticizes APM and Seyi Makinde

The Senator Sharafadeen Alli Campaign Organisation (SSACO) has criticized the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) regarding its support for Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde’s potential presidential ambitions. SSACO challenged the APM to establish a nationwide political structure and demonstrate electoral strength before making demands for President Bola Tinubu to step aside for Makinde in the 2027 elections.

SSACO described the APM’s political stance as “political hallucination,” arguing that a presidency cannot be secured through press statements alone. The organization further alleged that Makinde’s administration in Oyo State has been “anti-local government,” claiming he would paralyze Nigeria’s local government structures if elected president.

Additionally, the campaign organization addressed social media reports regarding Alli’s running mate, Hon. Adesoji Adedeji. SSACO dismissed allegations that Adedeji insulted residents of the Oke-Ogun region during a recent visit, labeling the claims as fabricated misinformation intended to undermine the rising profile of the Senator Sharafadeen Alli and Adedeji team in Oyo State.
