In Oyo, APC governorship candidate Senator Sharafadeen Alli named grassroots politician Yemi Aderibigbe as the Director‑General of his campaign council, praising his record as former Akinyele local government chairman and special adviser on transport.

Senator Solomon Adeola, the APC gubernatorial hopeful for Ogun State, presented scholarships and bursaries to 5,312 indigent tertiary students – 1,735 scholarships and 3,577 bursaries – as part of the third edition of his Yayi scholarship programme, linking the initiative to President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the Nigerian Education Loan Fund.

Ondo APC Chairman Kolawole Babatunde inaugurated a ten‑member State Reconciliation Committee in Akure to unite party members, target at least one million votes for President Tinubu in the state, and secure victories across all legislative seats in the 2027 elections.
