During a joint meeting of the Romanian Senate's Administration and Water, Forests, and Hunting Fund committees, Senator Vasile Blaga (PNL) accidentally appeared shirtless on camera while participating via videoconference.

The incident occurred during a heated debate regarding bear hunting quotas and a request for re-examination from President Nicușor Dan. As Senator Nadia Cerva and Committee President Vasilică Potecă (AUR) were engaged in a dispute over parliamentary procedures and amendments, Blaga intervened remotely to support the procedural stance.

Colleagues in the chamber noticed Blaga appeared to be at a beach, wearing only blue swim shorts. The unexpected visual led to laughter and comments from other senators, including Nadia Cerva, who asked, “Who is there in the nude?” and urged him to turn off the camera.
