Senegal and Comoros eye friendly match in Marseille

Senegal and Comoros are in discussions to hold an international friendly match at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille on either October 3 or 4. The proposed date follows Senegal's scheduled matches against Mozambique and Ethiopia.

Marseille was selected due to its large Comorian and Senegalese communities, as well as the presence of several Senegalese international players who have previously played for Olympique de Marseille. This match would mark the first official confrontation between the two national teams.

Senegal is currently led by coach Patrick Vieira, while Comoros is managed by Hubert Velud. The two football federations are working to finalize the agreement for the October weekend.
