Senegal and Germany to hold economic mission in Berlin

Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye is set to participate in the ‘Passerelles Economiques Sénégal-Allemagne 2026’ economic mission in Berlin, scheduled for June 21 to 27, 2026.

Following a working session between Abdoulaye Sow, president of the Dakar Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (CCIAD), and German Ambassador Kai Baldow, the mission aims to strengthen bilateral relations. The initiative focuses on enhancing economic, industrial, and technological cooperation through increased private investment and business networking.

A key component of the mission includes the launch of a technological cooperation program designed to bolster Senegal’s industrial and economic capacities. The event will bring together government authorities from both nations alongside private sector representatives to explore new partnership opportunities.
