Senegal U17 qualifies for UFOA-A final and CAN after 3-0 win over Guinea

Senegal's U17 national team has qualified for both the UFOA-A tournament final and the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) U17 following a 3-0 victory over Guinea. The match, held at the Léopold Sédar Senghor Stadium, saw Moussa Ndiaye open the scoring in the 13th minute with a header from a Maguette Guèye free kick.

Souleymane Commissaire Faye extended the lead in the 85th minute, and Cheikh Thior added a third goal during stoppage time. Despite Guinea's efforts and pressure from players like Salifou Camara, the Senegalese defense and goalkeeper Assane Sarr remained resolute.

While the loss prevents Guinea from reaching the final, they remain in contention for CAN U17 qualification through other pathways. Meanwhile, Mali has been eliminated from the tournament during the group stage, missing out on the next continental championship.
