Senegal and Tunisia advance national economic development strategies

In Senegal, Adepme has formed an alliance with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to enhance financing and support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This partnership follows the launch of Adepme’s 2026-2030 Transformation Plan, which focuses on business formalization and improved access to capital. The collaboration aims to align EBRD’s offerings with Senegal’s national strategy to boost SME competitiveness.

In Tunisia, the government has moved into the implementation phase of its 2026-2030 Development Plan. The ambitious roadmap includes over 21,000 public projects and programs with a total investment exceeding 101.8 billion dinars. High-level discussions involving President Kaïs Saïed and government officials have emphasized the need to transform public debt into an investment lever to rebuild public services, while addressing challenges regarding financial constraints and administrative capacity.
