Senegal controversy over 500 million CFA franc donation for Youth Olympic Games

A controversy has emerged in Senegal following President Bassirou Diomaye Faye’s announcement of a 500 million CFA franc donation intended for the Youth Olympic Games (YOG). The funds are designated to purchase 200,000 tickets for underprivileged youth to attend the games scheduled from October 31 to November 13.
