Mali has retained its FIBA U18 Women’s AfroBasket title after defeating Nigeria 77-68 in the final held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. This victory marks Mali’s tenth continental title in this category and continues their period of dominance in the competition.

Nigeria’s Junior D’Tigress finished as runners-up, securing a silver medal and a qualification spot for the 2027 FIBA U-19 Women’s Basketball World Cup in China. Mali’s Coumba Keita was the tournament’s leading scorer, averaging 20 points per game, while Maimouna Traoré was named Most Valuable Player.
