Senegal President Bassirou Diomaye Faye announces new ministerial appointments

President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has implemented a new wave of administrative appointments across three Senegalese ministries. The restructuring, carried out via a new decree, redistributes responsibilities within the Ministries of Youth and Sports, Culture, Handicrafts and Tourism, and National Education.

In the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Marième Kane Diallo, an organizational sociologist, has been appointed Director of Human Resources and Training to fill a previously vacant position. Additionally, Marième Dieng, an expert in entrepreneurship and employability, has been named Director of Entrepreneurship Promotion and Partnerships.

The Ministry of Culture, Handicrafts and Tourism also saw leadership changes. Ibrahima Sory Sarr, a planner, was appointed Director of General Administration and Equipment, while Baba Ndoye, a tourism professional, was named Inspector of Administrative and Financial Affairs.
