Senegal winger Krépin Diatta draws interest from Everton, Marseille and other clubs

Senegal international wing‑back Krépin Diatta, 27, became a free agent after his contract with AS Monaco expired on 30 June. The Dakar‑born player, who has earned 64 caps and featured at the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 World Cup, is being courted by several clubs. English sides Everton and Ipswich Town have expressed interest, while French club Olympique de Marseille and German side Schalke 04 are also in contact. Diatta, who began his senior career at Norway’s Sarpsborg before moving to Club Brugge and then Monaco, wants to join a project that suits his style and is not rushing his decision. He remains in Senegal awaiting the right offer, with clubs monitoring his versatility and experience in Ligue 1, the Champions League and Europa League.
