His career has focused on media development, conflict-sensitive journalism, and training professionals across several African nations, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea, Mali, and Burkina Faso.

Abdou Karim Mbacké Ndiaye, a reporter for Dakaractu, has been named one of three finalists in the Documentary category for the second edition of the Pan-African Local Leadership Excellence Prize (PELL 2026).
