Senegal's anti‑corruption office to publish first asset‑declaration compliance lists
The Office National de Lutte contre la Corruption (OFNAC) announced that, following the 31 July 2026 deadline for public officials to submit asset‑declaration forms under law n° 2025‑13, it will release provisional lists on 10 August 2026. One list will name officials who have complied, the other will identify those who have not, with a final definitive list to follow after verification.
Minister of Justice Moussa Sarr issued a circular on 5 August 2026 urging late declarants – including senior directors, prosecutors and judges – to regularise their filings immediately, warning that non‑compliance will trigger sanctions prescribed by the legislation. OFNAC reported a large influx of dossiers in the days before the deadline and is now conducting administrative registration, authenticity checks and conformity controls before the public release. President Moustapha Ka will preside over a press briefing at the agency’s headquarters to explain the verification process and next steps.
