Seniat and Sudeban partner to strengthen Venezuelan tax collection

Venezuela’s National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (Seniat) and the Superintendency of Banking Sector Institutions (Sudeban) have formalized a strategic alliance to strengthen tax collection. The agreement involves the exchange of information and the interconnection of Seniat’s systems with the national financial system.

Signed by Seniat Superintendent Román Maniglia and Sudeban Superintendent Anmy Pérez, the partnership aims to improve the planning, monitoring, and control of tax collection. The cooperation is designed to identify inconsistencies or deviations in taxpayer processes and encourage the formalization of commercial activities within the national financial ecosystem.

The initiative is part of a broader strategy to modernize, digitalize, and automate tax administration and financial oversight. By reinforcing fiscal management and regulatory supervision, the institutions seek to create a more efficient and transparent tax model aligned with international best practices.
