Seniat to launch tax official training program in September

The National Integrated Service of Customs and Tax Administration (Seniat) will launch a national training and professionalization program for tax officials in September. The initiative aims to elevate the standards of personnel responsible for audits and tax collection in Venezuela.

The academic program was developed in collaboration with the National School of Administration and Public Finance (ENAHP) and the Center for Fiscal Studies (CEF). It also incorporates curriculum content proposed by the Venezuelan Association of Tax Law (AVDT) and the Venezuelan Federation of Public Accountants (FCCPV).

Superintendent Román Maniglia stated that the program is designed to produce high-level professionals with expertise in accounting and fiscal matters. The goal is for officials to act as expert advisors who support taxpayers while ensuring tax compliance. This effort is part of a broader strategy to modernize the Venezuelan public administration through digitalization, automation, and improved human talent.
