Senigallia hosts European delegations for D4EA dance‑for‑eco‑anxiety project

The Assessor for European Policies of Senigallia, Massimo Bello, welcomed delegations from France (Toulouse), Spain (Barcelona) and Finland (Raseborg) to present the D4EA – Dance for Eco‑Anxiety project. The initiative, promoted by the local association Ijshaamanka, was selected among 112 winners out of more than 1,200 applications for the EU Creative Europe programme.

Monia Mattioli leads the pedagogical and artistic component, while Giancarlo Taddei manages administration. D4EA is the first European effort to combine performing arts, social engagement and education, empowering youth aged 15‑25 to address climate change positively. Its methodology will be featured at the Embodied Education conference with ten Italian universities, and the trans‑national programme will culminate in a flagship event in Senigallia in 2027. Bello emphasized that the project showcases how local entities can leverage EU resources for social and economic development.
