Senigallia strengthens ties with European twin cities

The Italian municipality of Senigallia is strengthening its ties with its four European twin cities, specifically Sens, Chester, and Lörrach. This intensification of relations marks the 40th anniversary of the twinning agreements.

These efforts include institutional, cultural, and sporting exchanges, as well as economic and social interactions between associations and private entities. Recent activities include participation in the International Youth Games in Lörrach, led by Councilor for European Policies and Twinning Massimo Bello, and collaboration on the traditional Ein Bier Beer Festival.

A friendship trip to Lörrach and surrounding areas is scheduled for October 22 to 24, 2026. The tour includes visits to Basel, Bern, Interlaken, Freiburg, Zurich, and Lucerne.
