Senior Fest opens nominations for elderly care awards

Organizers of the fifth annual Senior Fest have opened nominations for awards recognizing excellence in elderly care. The awards aim to honor individuals and organizations that provide continuous, impactful support to senior citizens through specific programs, services, or innovations that enhance their dignity and quality of life.

Nominations are being accepted in three categories: individual, institution, and company. Eligible nominators include citizens, retiree associations, non-governmental organizations, local governments, and companies. Self-nominations for institutions and companies are also permitted, provided they present documented results and concrete activities.

Previous winners included the Mayor of Podgorica, Saša Mujović, the Red Cross of Montenegro, and the company M:tel. The upcoming jubilee festival, scheduled for October, will also focus on topics such as financial and digital literacy, health, active aging, and intergenerational connectivity.
