Senior Job reports high-salary trends and launches map search
Senior Job Co., Ltd., a Japanese recruitment platform specializing in workers aged 50 and older, has released new data regarding high-salary job trends for seniors. A survey of listings on its ‘Senior Job’ website revealed that high-paying positions—defined as those with annual incomes of 7 million yen or more—are heavily concentrated in specific sectors.
Of the top 11 job categories for high-salary senior roles, seven are within the construction industry, two are in accounting, and two are in IT. The findings suggest that industries willing to offer high compensation to senior professionals are currently limited, with a significant reliance on technical experts and qualified personnel from the construction sector.
In addition to these market insights, Senior Job has launched a new map-based search feature on its platform. This tool allows senior job seekers to visually locate employment opportunities in specific geographic areas. The update aims to assist users with diverse location needs, such as those seeking shorter commutes, relocating for family caregiving, or moving to rural areas where station-based searches may be less effective.
