Senior sporting events held in Łąck and Marciszów

Various senior-focused sporting and social events were held in Poland to promote community integration and physical activity among the elderly.

In Gmina Łąck, the 10th District Senior Fitness Olympiad ‘Na Wesoło’ took place on August 19, 2026. Organized by the Płock branch of the Polish Association of Retirees, Pensioners and Disabled Persons, the event featured various fitness competitions. The top three rankings were awarded to Gmina Brudzeń Duży, Miasto i Gmina Bodzanów, and Gmina Nowy Duninów, respectively.

In Marciszów, the 14th Senior Spartakiad was held at the local Culture House. Despite heavy rain, participants competed in activities such as dart throwing, shuttlecock slaloms, and football shooting. The event included international participation from seniors from Pilnikova, Czech Republic. Additionally, an educational stall was provided to teach participants about emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures.
