Sennheiser launches MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 with replaceable batteries

Sennheiser has launched the MOMENTUM True Wireless 5, a new generation of premium in-ear headphones. A standout feature of this model is the inclusion of replaceable batteries in both the earbuds and the charging case, a design choice intended to extend the product's lifespan and address common battery degradation issues in true wireless devices.

Technical upgrades include support for Bluetooth 6.0, aptX Lossless, and Dolby Atmos with head-tracking for immersive spatial audio. The earbuds feature a 7mm TrueResponse driver and an adaptive hybrid active noise cancellation system. For voice calls, the device utilizes eight sensors, including six microphones and two bone-conduction accelerometers, combined with AI algorithms to isolate speech from background noise.

The MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 offers up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge, with a total of 40 hours when using the charging case. The hardware carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance and is available in five colorways: graphite, cream, copper, denim, and lavender.
