Sennori and Campomarino address municipal tax measures
The municipality of Sennori has approved its participation in the ‘Rottamazione quinquies’ tax amnesty program. This measure allows citizens to settle municipal debts, including IMU, Tari, and traffic violations, that were assigned to the Agenzia delle Entrate-Riscossione between January 1, 2000, and December 31, 2023. Under this scheme, taxpayers can extinguish their debt by paying only the principal amount and reimbursement for executive and notification expenses.
Key deadlines include the availability of data on the Agenzia delle Entrate-Riscossione website starting October 15, 2026, with electronic applications accepted from October 16 to December 15, 2026. Payments must be completed in a single installment or the first installment of a payment plan by March 31, 2027.
In Campomarino, the association ‘Insieme per Campomarino Lido’ has requested a 30% reduction in Tari (waste tax) for owners of second homes who reside in other Italian municipalities. The group argues that these properties are used primarily during summer months and generate significantly less waste than permanent residences. They noted a discrepancy in current regulations, which grant similar reductions to residents living abroad but not to those living elsewhere in Italy.
