Sennori community theatre returns with Feminos production

The cultural association Il Lentischio is returning to the stage in Sennori with “Feminos – Ciò che si perde, ciò che rimane, ciò che si trasforma,” a community theatre production. The play is the result of ten years of research and experimentation, originating in 2016 from a dialogue based on Federico García Lorca’s “The House of Bernarda Alba.”

The production utilizes a Sardinian Logudorese translation by linguist Antoninu Rubattu, which has been rewritten into the Sennorese dialect. This linguistic approach serves as a foundation for an original dramaturgy rooted in local identity and culture. The performance features 16 performers and incorporates both Sennorese and Italian to ensure the narrative is accessible to those unfamiliar with the dialect.
