Senses Park Resort Opens as Brazil's First Inclusive Resort in João Pessoa

The Cabo Branco Tourist Pole in João Pessoa, Paraíba, will host the Senses Park Resort, the first Brazilian resort designed from the ground up for inclusive tourism and neurodivergent families. The development contract was signed on 3 May by Grupo Makários and the state government, with participation from Governor Lucas Ribeiro, Cinep director Rômulo Polari, and architect Leila Azzouz.

The resort will combine a hotel tower with sensory‑adapted apartments, chalets set among native vegetation, a sensory park, a therapeutic centre, a water park, convention facilities and dining areas. Day‑use services will be open to the public, allowing families to continue therapies while on vacation. Details on construction size, investment volume, job creation and timelines are slated for a later event on 24 August.
