Sensodyne launches new enamel protection and whitening toothpastes

Sensodyne has expanded its dental care portfolio with new products focused on enamel protection and whitening for sensitive teeth.

The Sensodyne ProSchmelz Clinical Zahnschmelz Protect toothpaste utilizes sodium fluoride (1450 ppm) and sodium lactate at a reduced pH to enhance remineralization. This formulation is designed to strengthen acid-weakened enamel surfaces and provides significantly higher resistance against food acids compared to non-optimized fluoride toothpastes. Clinical studies suggest it offers three times stronger protection against food acids than fluoride-free alternatives.

Additionally, the Sensodyne Advanced White toothpaste is available in the German drugstore and pharmacy market. This 75-ml product is formulated for adults with sensitive teeth who seek to reduce surface discoloration. It contains 1450 ppm fluoride to support enamel remineralization and features a clinically tested whitening formula intended to remove up to 85% of surface stains after eight weeks of twice-daily use.
