Sensory development projects launched in Gliwice and Kozienice
New sensory-focused initiatives are being implemented for children in Gliwice and Kozienice. In Gliwice, two municipal nurseries located on Żeromskiego and Kozielska streets are establishing sensory rooms. The project is funded primarily through grants from the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy. A tender is currently underway for the procurement of furniture, educational aids, and specialized equipment designed to support motor and sensory development.
In Kozienice, a new sensory-educational playground has opened at a Special Education and Training Center. This project, titled ‘Colorful World of Play,’ was supported by the Enea – Energia Wspólnoty Foundation. The initiative included environmental education, energy workshops, and practical activities such as planting trees and building insect houses. The playground is intended to serve as a space for recreation, therapy, and social integration for the center's students.
