Sensus warns of lack of school psychologists in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton

The Sensus Psychological Support Center has issued a warning regarding the lack of systematic and accessible psychological support for high school students in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton. The center is calling on relevant institutions to implement the introduction of school psychologists to ensure timely professional assistance for youth.

In observance of World Mental Health Day on October 10, Sensus has launched the 'Mental Health in Classrooms' campaign. The initiative specifically aims to bring psychologists into high schools throughout the canton to address the vulnerabilities of adolescence, including risks of anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders. The center emphasizes that mental and physical health are interconnected and that professional presence in schools allows for early detection and crisis intervention.
