Sentar Inc. wins U.S. Navy contract worth up to $400 million

Huntsville-based cybersecurity firm Sentar Inc. has been selected as one of 29 companies for a U.S. Navy contract through the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific. The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is valued at $278 million, with a two-year option that could increase the total value to $400 million. The work involves operational analysis, systems engineering, and advanced technology development, including software and hardware design and systems integration.

In related regional developments, PROJECTXYZ has invested $250,000 in the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering (ASCTE) Foundation. This investment aims to support students pursuing careers in cyber and engineering. The company is also expanding its partnership with the school by welcoming its first three ASCTE student interns this semester to help build the local technical workforce.
