Sentech to Broadcast Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Pageants Across Southern Africa

South Africa's state-owned broadcaster Sentech will partner with the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) to air the Miss Teen Namibia pageant on 31 July 2026 and the Miss Namibia pageant on 1 August 2026. Both events will be shown live on NBC1 and streamed simultaneously on Sentech’s Freevision Play platform, extending coverage to viewers throughout the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.

Penny Ntuli, head of brand and communications at Sentech, said the partnership demonstrates the company’s commitment to “connecting Africa through innovative digital broadcasting solutions that make premium content accessible to audiences wherever they are.” The broadcasts aim to showcase the talent, leadership and aspirations of Namibia’s young women while fostering cultural exchange across the region.
