Sentiero Film Factory expands to Poggibonsi for 2026 edition

The sixth edition of the Sentiero Film Factory, a festival dedicated to short films and debut feature films, is scheduled to take place from September 17 to 26, 2026. Under the artistic direction of Pierfrancesco Bigazzi, the event is expanding its regional reach by including Poggibonsi for the first time.

An introductory section for feature films will be held on September 17 and 18 at the Teatro Politeama in Poggibonsi, organized in collaboration with Kahuna Film and the Municipality of Poggibonsi. The main festivities will return to Florence from September 18 to 26, centered in locations such as Le Leopoldine in Piazza Tasso, the Conventino, and the San Frediano district. The program includes screenings, meetings, and initiatives focused on the audiovisual supply chain.

New for this edition is a partnership with Nital, a distributor for Nikon, RED, and DJI. This collaboration will allow selected projects to utilize professional equipment during production and offer technical masterclasses to the public. Additionally, an exhibition of poster designs by contest finalists will be hosted at ARTEX.
