Sáenz Peña police arrest robbery suspect using security footage

In Sáenz Peña, police arrested a 25-year-old man following a robbery in the Ramseyer neighborhood. Neighbors detained the suspect, who was found in an agitated state, before authorities arrived.

Security camera footage from the victim's residence allowed investigators to identify the man entering the home and stealing various items, including a Lenovo notebook, a smartwatch, a water pump, and several Stanley brand products. Following the analysis by the Criminalistics Division, officers recovered the stolen goods in a nearby green space. The prosecutor, Dr. Marcelo Fabián Soto, has ordered the suspect to be notified of his arrest and transferred to judicial headquarters.

Separately, in Las Termas de Río Hondo, a search for 32-year-old Jorge Maximiliano Juárez concluded after he was located near National Route 9. A neighbor found Juárez in an apparent state of intoxication and assisted him before he eventually returned to his home in the España neighborhood.
