Seo In Young denies long-standing rumors of assaulting IU

Singer Seo In Young has addressed long-standing rumors claiming she assaulted singer IU in a restroom during their time on the program ‘Heroes’ in 2010. Speaking on her personal YouTube channel during a conversation with Baek Ji Young, the former Jewelry member expressed frustration over the allegations.

Seo In Young questioned the validity of the claims, noting that she and IU were not even close at the time. This follows previous denials from both parties; IU addressed the rumors in 2011 on ‘Radio Star’, stating, “I have never been dragged into a toilet or beaten,” while Seo In Young also issued a denial in 2013.

During the discussion, Seo In Young and Baek Ji Young also reflected on past misunderstandings and personal friction during their early careers, noting that while they both had strong personalities, they never engaged in bullying junior artists.
