Seocheon County hosts 64th Citizens' Day and sports festival

Seocheon County held its 64th Citizens' Day ceremony and 48th Citizens' Sports Festival at the Seocheon General Stadium, drawing approximately 3,500 residents from 13 towns and townships.

The event featured various athletic competitions, including track and field, tug-of-war, and traditional games such as jegichagi. Pangyo-myeon took first place in the overall standings, followed by Janghang-eup in second and Seocheon-eup in third.

In addition to the sports competitions, the ceremony included an awards presentation to honor citizens who have contributed to regional development, education, culture, and social service. Seocheon County Governor Yu Seung-gwang emphasized that the event served as a vital opportunity for residents to connect and unify the strength of the county.
