Seocho-gu launches three-week anti-corruption campaign

Seocho-gu has designated a three-week ‘Integrity Intensive Practice Period’ from September 7 to September 27 to strengthen anti-corruption measures and public official discipline ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

The initiative focuses on three pillars: practice, communication, and discipline. To prevent bribery, conflicts of interest, and negligence, the district has implemented several programs, including mock corruption reporting training for 120 employees and the operation of a ‘Gift Return Center’ to prevent the improper exchange of holiday gifts.

To foster a healthier organizational culture, the district is hosting a ‘Seocho Integrity Concert’ featuring lectures on anti-corruption laws and a ‘Reverse Mentoring’ session. In these sessions, junior employees share modern skills like short-form video production with senior officials, while executives share professional expertise, aiming to bridge generational gaps within the administration.
