Seocho-gu to host job training for specialized construction workers

Seocho-gu, Seoul, will hold a job training session for specialized construction company representatives and employees on the 29th at the Seocho-gu Office. The program aims to support local businesses facing difficulties due to the construction industry downturn by providing practical information on laws and systems.

The training focuses on preventing administrative penalties caused by a lack of familiarity with regulations and reducing disputes related to illegal subcontracting. Key topics include specialized construction reporting and notification systems, preventing administrative measures through case studies of illegal subcontracting, and changes in local government construction bidding and contract systems.

Approximately 100 participants are expected to attend. The session, which incorporates feedback from previous attendees, features instructor Kyu Gyo-hwan from the Seoul branch of the Korea Specialized Construction Association. Seocho-gu Mayor Jeon Seong-su stated that the initiative is intended to enhance the practical capabilities of construction firms and support stable business operations amidst economic challenges.
