Seocho-gu to host special concert for 1,300th Seocho Friday Concert

Seocho-gu will host a special concert titled ‘A Midsummer Night’s Baroque Festa’ to commemorate the 1,300th session of the Seocho Friday Concert. The event is scheduled for Friday, September 4, at 7:00 PM at the Seocho Culture and Arts Center Art Hall.

The concert series, which began in March 1994 as the ‘New Spring Concert,’ has served as a representative cultural program for the district for over 30 years. To celebrate this milestone, the professional ensemble ‘Baroque Concerto Seoul’ will perform an 80-minute program featuring works by Bach, Vivaldi, and Telemann, including concertos and vocal arias.

In addition to the performance, the district will hold three online appreciation events from September through November. These include an SNS follow event, a themed quiz, and a contest for audience stories, offering prizes and invitations to upcoming events such as the Seoripul Music Festival and the year-end ‘Christmas in Seocho’ special.
